Insurance

At this time, I do not accept insurance. However, if you would like to seek insurance reimbursement for services, your insurance will likely consider me an “out-of-network” provider and may reimburse you for a percentage of my fee. At your request, I will provide you a coded invoice for the services (or “superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance provider.

Cancellation

If you must cancel a session, please notify me at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled time. If I do not receive a notification, you will be charged the full fee for the session as I have reserved that time for you. This fee may be waived for emergency situations.

Good Faith Estimate/No Surprises Act:

Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are not enrolled in an insurance plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage, are entitled to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges for health care services.

You can ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service or at any time during treatment. The “Good Faith Estimate” is an estimate of the total costs of the annual overall care.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
